DE VENOGE CELEBRATES 300 YEARS OF LOUUIS XV’s CORONATION

De Venoge has the great honor of unveiling its magnificent bronze statue representing the King of France Louis XV, emblematic figure of the Maison. Designed to life- size for the 300th anniversary of the coronation of Louis XV, de Venoge entrusted its delicate realization to none other than the very talented French sculptor of Peruvian heritage, Juan-Carlos Carrillo.

The statue represents the King of France on May 28, 1728, signing the famous edict which authorized the wines of Champagne to be bottled and transported, allowing the second fermentation and the sparkling to become in the bottle. Inaugurated on October 25, 2022 during a magnificent ceremony, it adorns the courtyard of de Venoge estate at 33 Avenue de Champagne in Épernay.

The legend already says that a bottle of Louis XV, the most prestigious cuvée of the House, was deposited under its base, ready to cross time alongside the one who overlooks it.

For the 300th anniversary of the coronation of King Louis XV, Champagne de Venoge honors its Louis XV box vintage 1996.

LAUNCH OF NOBLE CHAMPAGNE

Maison Lanson presents NOBLE CHAMPAGNE. The exceptional nature of great wines expresses itself with time, so Hervé Dantan, Cellar Master of the Maison Lanson, has chosen to let Noble Champagne wait for nearly two decades in the cellar before presenting the 2004 vintage, one of the oldest vintages currently on the market.

NOBLE Champagne embodies the quest for excellence of the Maison Lanson.

THE PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NIGHT OF THE CHEFS ELLE A TABLE

Lanson Champagnes will once again be honored during the gastronomic event La Nuit des Chefs Elle à Table, which will take place on November 24th. For this new edition, the House of Lanson invites you to discover a preview of its new vintage Le Vintage 2012 and to rediscover its gastronomic cuvée Le Black Réserve.

The two cuvées will be honored and offered for tasting in the 37 restaurants selected by the editorial staff in Paris and in the regions, with food and wine pairings specially created for the occasion.

PHILIPPONNAT CELEBRATES 500 YEARS OF HISTORY IN CHAMPAGNE BY LOOKING FORWARD TO THE FUTURE

TSARINE MILLÉSIME 2003 GRAND CRU BLANC DE BLANCS,
A MAISON’S TREASURE CREATED BY THE CELLAR MASTER ISABELLE TELLIER

A great wine intended for connoisseurs and serious champagne lovers. Isabelle Tellier gives us her tasting notes: “Tsarine Millésime 2003 is an intense brilliant gold color; its bubbles are exceptionally fine. The nose expresses the wealth of sun that year with flavors of toasted bread, hazelnuts, and roasted notes. The well-balanced palate is voluptuous and reveals notes of quince jelly, peanut butter and sweet spices. The finish is elegant, with iodine and saline notes.”
